I begin this two-part article by focusing purely on the physical practicalities of taking care of our bodies in regard to the ‘C’ virus, and also to offer support in helping move through some of the fear that many are currently feeling.
In this spirit, ‘Part One’ addresses the physical aspect of the ‘C’ virus. ‘Part Two’, however, has a more evolutionary focus.
So, here we go …
A couple of weeks ago, a ‘C’ virus ‘mantra’ came to mind: “Stock up and Stay In”. If most of the people in the world were able to do this for 2-4 weeks, the virus would ultimately wipe itself out. Otherwise, it could remain present for up to 12 months or longer. China did not adopt this approach to begin with, however, since its implementation, zero new domestic cases of the virus have been detected and all hospitalised sufferers have been discharged and given the all-clear.
I conveyed my thoughts to a few colleagues about government guidelines to halt the spread of the virus by instructing people to remain indoors for a couple of weeks, and the most common response was concern at the idea of “social isolation”. A mantra I shared many years ago came back to mind: It is not the situation that causes our suffering but what the mind does with it.
We can view and experience a measure such as ‘social isolation/social distancing’ as just that: Or, we can choose to embrace and experience it as a ‘Retreat’ – an opportunity to turn inwards … to disconnect from the all-pervading ‘out there’ and instead take advantage of an unexpected break and actually enjoy being at home, and home to ourselves.
As I pondered on people’s concerns at the idea of ‘socially isolating’, a friend just happened to send me a quote:

The usual monetary concerns dominate the actions, or lack thereof, of most governing authorities in terms of to what degree the measures that must be taken are going to cost the economy. Many governments are woefully slow to act thus placing citizens under unnecessary risk. However, COVID-19 encourages us to empower ourselves and recognise that we do not need to wait for ‘authority’ to get its act together and tell us what to do and how to best manage this situation – we can think and act for ourselves, and each other.
How much is 2-4 weeks of a global society in Retreat going to cost industry, commerce and business compared to 6 to 12 months, or longer, if the virus cannot be contained and therefore overcome? Yes, there are many who are dependent on others to get through, even survive, this world-wide malady. However, we can support the vulnerable and take care of each other in ways that are considerate, compassionate, practical and safe, and that do not jeopardise the health of anyone.
From a purely physical perspective, our emphasis must be on turbo-boosting the immune system. Homeopathy, supplements, remedies and tinctures such as echinacea and astragalus are invaluable. Blueberries, raspberries, mulberries, *elderberries, (*as powerful immune-booster, but not necessarily taken if one contracted the ‘C’ virus for reason stated further below re the advice on anti-inflammatories; information that still needs to be confirmed), strawberries, blackberries and blackcurrants prove indispensable because they offer a concentrated input of anthocyanins. So, up the ante on consumption of berries for they are potent preventative medicine. Dark red, blue, purple and black fruit and vegetables are also powerful antivirals and anti-oxidants, so be sure to include raw red cabbage and raw beetroot in your counter-‘C’ virus dietary plan. Take plenty of natural vitamin C, or a good vitamin C supplement. A glass of freshly squeezed lemon/grapefruit/orange juice each morning is an excellent way to absorb this protective nutrient.
Along with these, Vitamin D3, copper, zinc, vitamin K2, calcium, magnesium, a reputable probiotic, active 15+ UMF or NPA manuka honey and Thieves oil, are all highly effective. Oregano oil, thyme oil, and citracidal (grapefruit seed extract) are essential standbys to take at the first sign of any virus or infection and continue taking for a couple of weeks.
Raw seed mixes and sprouted seeds, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables including garlic and onions, as well as oats and grains etc also contribute to a fortified immune system.
Wherever possible, everything we put into and onto our bodies needs to be organic.
Drinking plenty of water and getting good quality rest and sleep are vital for strengthening the immune system. Positive thoughts and feelings, alongside meditation practices, serve beautifully to support a state of overall harmony and wellbeing. And let us not forget the powerful medicine of laughter, lightness, prayer, and loving thoughts/sentiments/kindness, which not only boost the immune system but also mood and morale.
Walking and breathing in Nature, (for now where it is quiet and there are wide open spaces away from others), boosts the immune system tremendously; as does moving and stretching and practices such as Yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong, the latter of which can be learned at home by watching online classes – (ideally via an ethernet cable which radically reduces exposure to EMR’s/EMF’s).
We can make our own hand sanitiser, which can also be used for all general cleaning purposes, including door handles, steering wheels, etc. Citracidal, oregano oil and thyme oil diluted in water are ideal. Lemon juice can be added but the sanitiser would need to be kept in the fridge and used within a week or so.
I have also heard that anti-inflammatories are not to be used for everyday aches and pains, high temperature or fever, as there appears to be a link between these and a resultant susceptibility to the virus. It would be wise to consult your GP for further clarification.
**I am not a nutritionist or naturopath and these are my own intuitions. So, people do need to conduct their own research and/or seek sound professional advice. For example, high/low blood pressure, pregnancy, breastfeeding, taking certain medications, and specific health challenges etc, could render the above as contraindicative. Be sure to check with your GP, naturopath, herbalist, homeopath, or health practitioner.
It is essential to TURN OFF ALL WIFI, wireless devices, routers, etc when not in use. On going to bed, switch off all devices including mobile phones – (you might wish to consider buying a basic (not Smart) £9.99 mobile phone (brick) to receive emergency calls at night. During the day, you can leave your Smart phone on Airplane mode with both Bluetooth and WIFI turned off when these are not being used. I suggest this because evidence is emerging that suggests wireless technology compromises the immune system and the cells as well as causing an array of biological damage. Research is now being conducted into a potential link between 5G and the ‘C’ virus. If anyone can produce any factual evidence then please email me privately.

Do you or anyone have contacts in Italy that can confirm this? If this is so, it would be huge news as it would be an admission there is a problem associated with the technology in relation to human health.
Attached is an article from July which states that Italy had activated its 3.6-3.8 GHz mid-band 5G network, which is very similar to our current home WiFi frequencies in North America (2.4 – 5 GHz).

Vitamin D acts through the vitamin D receptor (VDR) to regulate gene transcription … Lack of vitamin D signalling due to dietary deficiency or genetic impairment of VDR expression/activity can impair physical and functional barrier integrity” Wireless radiation has been found to affect the shape of the vitamin D receptor molecule, thus impairing VDR activity and affecting its ability to bind to vitamin D, according to this study published in July 2016 https://www.researchgate.net/…/5785e9a008ae3949cf546f52 The effects peaked at just under 6 GHz, which is used by Wi-Fi. Thus, minimising your exposure to wireless radiation will help your immune system.
Wireless radiation has increased in our environment within the last couple of months, from the increase in small cell antennas for 5G in major cities in the U.S. and around the world, as evidenced by all the 5G commercials on TV. While you may not be able to directly control the increase in small antennas outside, there’s a lot you can do in your living environment if you have not already. Sources of significant wireless radiation in the home: Wi-Fi router and Wi-Fi extenders, smart TV’s and smart appliances, cordless phones and baby monitors, cell phones, laptops/tablets/computers not in airplane mode, wireless personal assistants (Alexa, etc.), wireless security and camera systems (Ring, etc), wireless video gaming systems (xbox, ps4, Wii, etc), wireless cable TV boxes, and smart meters. It is possible to hardwire almost everything and mitigate to acceptable wireless radiation levels.
